Valve adj on 88 2.8
 

Replaced head gaskets now won't start! I think I may have adj valves wrong! Can. Someone tell me his its done?

I rebuilt my fiero 2.8 in the early 90's. I'm almost sure it was 1/4 turn, or 90 degrees past 0 lash. That was a long time ago and I'm not positive.


I would search chevy 60 degree engine info. to get the correct adjustment procedure. Make sure it's for the cast iron heads. 3.1 and larger often used aluminum heads.
