What should I make sure is upgraded? 4l60e

2000 chevy blazer 4 door 4x4

Im having my transmission rebuilt, Im going to have him upgrade the sunshell the the "beast" sunshell.

I will be doing minor towing occasionally (less than 3000 lbs), some minor offroading, and daily driving.

I just want to make the Trans better than OEM standards, because their standards arent exactly the best.

What else should I have upgraded besides the sunshell? In other words, what are the other common weakspots in the 4l60e?

Also a possibility, theres a Jasper Trans with a 3 year 100k miles warranty for $3200 installed, any experience with Jasper?

Thanks in advance for advice

Thanks for the reply.

For $1500 I am getting the full rebuild with torque converter.

The rebuild includes

Trans-go Shift kit
"the beast" sunshell
Some upgrades to the 3-4 clutches to make them shift firmer (not sure what exactly)

Fingers Crossed

I dont know about the vette servo piston with a 4.3. Prolly hit way too hard. The trans go kit has partnumbers for the weak parts that need replacement. Mostly plastic pistons and valve (not solonoid)
