ORIGINAL: chevyman30571

what do i have to get if the ball has has broken off? can i get the part at pepboys? Also is it bad if i have the hose plugged until i get the part? Also this is off topic of the vacuum line but i have what sounds like a lifter noise when the rpm's get around 2500 and higher. My mechanic said this is due to the engine having a solid lifter cam. But i dunno.

I know you can't get the vacuum ball from Pepboys as I worked for them for a little bit, what i ended up doing was going to a junk yard and getting one there.

On the driverside in front of the firewall. On my truck it is right infrom of my clutch master. So i would say driverside near firewall and fender.
