Default edit: tensioner pully and serpentine nelt needed?

Took this today after warming the jimmy up for a few minutes.

It has been doing this for a few days.

I changed the oil a few days ago.

Not sure if it was doing this before or not...

I tried to upload on here but it was over teh limit for .zip files

does photobucket support .m4a or whatever?

I am trying to find a converter for .mp3

I will try to make a video when I get home of the sound and a pic of the vehicle for youtube, but I work soon.

I assure you it's only the recording from my ipod.

ok, belt snapped on the way home from work

whatever this is, the bearings inside it failed which caused the bolt to come loose and then the belt snapped.

any ideas what this part is, how much it will cost to replace, and how much is will cost to get a new serpentine belt?

found this picture of the other side. would this part fit? $20 seems real good

Looks like the belt tensioner pulley. You should be able to look it up at your local auto parts store website to get an idea of what it would cost you. Also, your link says 1992 you might make sure that would fit your car.

Not the tensioner.
Idler!

You can either replace the entire pulley or just the bearing. The bearing is pressed so for 75% of everyone on here, Youre going to replace the whole thing.

20 bucks is about right. 30-40 bucks for a gatorback belt.

I would also check the tensioner puller and tensioner for proper opperation too.
