Default 1985 m1009 body lift

ok im new here and i finally got my dream truck.a 1985 m1009 blazer.when i got it it had 33 12.5's on it but i want to put my 35 12.5's on it.I keep looking around for a 3 inch body lift but every where i look says not for diesel engines.can anyone tell me why?
and if anyone has any links for some offroad part stores i could really use the help.im looking for shock brackets to run multiple shocks, body lift kit,and fender flares right now.thank you

does it have a lift on it now? your gonna need more then 3 inches to clear 35s. i got a m1008 with a 3inch suspension lift and 33s and they rub if i hit a curb kinda hard.

i had the exact truck a few years back and put a 2inch body lift on it, though it had a gas engine in it. off the top of my head i cant think of why diesel would be any different. it does have the filter on the fire wall. so that might have something to do with it, might have to move that or get longer lines.

well it does have a suspension lift on it thats the only way my 33's would fit.i just want to lift the body a few inches to clear 35's.and i have no idea why a regular body lift would not fit but every where i look the notes on the body lift say willnot work on diesel engines
