1990 K5 Headlights (not high beams)
 

My 1990 K5's headlights do not work, so I bought new ones off of LMCTruck and the headlight electrical connections are 2 pronged, while the headlights have 4 prongs. I was looking on autozone.com and I am wondering if these headlights:

The headlights shown in the link are for the 4 headlight setup which your truck likely has. These are separate high and low beam bulbs on each side. I am not sure what you ordered from LMC, but if it has 4 connections on the back, it is not the proper part for your truck.

yup swartlkk is right... should be only 2 prongs on it... unless you purchased some upgraded lights from LMC? not sure what you picked up...
whats the part number of the lights you bought from LMC? just curious and thought i would try and look it up and see what i find..

swartlkk, My truck does have the 4 light setup, 2 low beams, 2 high beams.

Ck1500, the part number for the headlights is 36-0306

I will go to AutoZone today and take a look at the headlights I mentioned above.

I installed the headlight and they all work now. I got a Sylvania Xtra Vision, works good.

i think those require the heavy duty headlight harness... part number 36-3581 at 29.95$.. seeing in the description it mentions if your adding high power halogen lights its required.. i was thinking about upgrading mine to this model also... but its a little down the road still...

glad to hear you go some lights working, but i am sure you would like to get the new LMC high output halogens working also...
