1992 Fullsize Blazer Frame Swap

Hey guys, new to this site. I hope i'm posting in the right section.

I have a 2 door full size blazer 4x4. A tree hit my truck head on and bent the frame as well as 1 fender, rad support, bumper etc... I really love this truck and was wondering if any other 88-98 frames will be compatible with it. Body and paint is fresh and the truck is perfect from the doors back, so i was hoping to swap the body to a donor frame and replace the front end from the donor to make it complete again. Any ideas on what frame will work for this?

'92 was the first year for the IFS. As such, you can only use a frame from a 92+ two door Blazer/Tahoe/Jimmy/Yukon.

is there any other frames that would fit? could I cut the front half off a 4x4 pickup and graft it on?

Hey,
You can use the 95 frame of the tahoe or yukon
up to the 97
I believe the frame was made alittle smaller in 96 or 97

You do not want to get into trying to graft two frames together unless you really know what you are doing.

I guess so, sounds kinda complicated though
sounds like you can buy a used shell, and rebuild it from the inside out
