4wd disengage??

Default 4wd disengage??

Ok I got my truck back o nthe road over the weekendso today i figure i would go through a couple nice ol mud puddles..well put 4hi on went right through..now when i went to put it back in 2wd for about 100 feet or so in 2wd it would make a clunking noise then stop..this also happend on sunday night would thi bew the 4wd disengaging or could it be something bad...I took a look under there and nothing looks wrong so idk

Interesting....did you try backing up?
I've had to jerk the truck sometimes with my hand on the 4x4 shifter (with a little pressure)to get it out of 4x4...

i havent tried backing up..but i do occasionaly have to jerk it to get it into 4wd or 2wd...but not real hard jerks..
