87 k5 350 startes hard
I'm dumb founded,dudes.
the truck takes about 3-8 secounds to start, then it idles high. I have had the throttle body rebuilt, replaced rotor, rotor cap, plugswires and it does the same thing. I have checked all the vacum lines, electrical wires.Ithink it's running rich. woundering if it's a sencor or what put about 500 into it and still nothing new. thanks:icon_bowrofl: |
What did the throttle body rebuild consist of? Did you put a new gasket on under the throttle body when you reinstalled it? How did you check for vacuum leaks?
|
The guy that rebuilt the throttle body, replaced all gaskets and a new one at the bottom and at the air cleaner.
He also planed each part,so good and flat to put together.rebuilt the injectors, and then he put bushings in ,where the steel rod goes thru on the butterflys,it had very little play, but he sid with steel rod and aluminum body he puts bushings in. I spayed carb cleaner around vacum lines and visually inspected them. the was two of them plugged off,one at windsheild motor and the other at electricial connection on the passenger side of the throttle body.thanks for the help |
