88 k5 tranny problem
 

Hello to all. i am new to this group and i need some serious help. I have a 1988 silverado k5 4X4 blazer, 350 engine. i've had the truck for about 3 years and the transmission was starting to slip. i was on the highway and it started slipping pretty badly then it started to make this loud knocking noise. I pulled into a gas station and noticed that it was just pouring out trans fluid. pleeese help.

Sounds to me like it might be time for a reman or rebuild of the tranny.

I was hoping that it was something else, but in my heart of hearts i figured that it was time for a rebuild. thanks man.
