Hi how are you all doing i just recently bought this truck a few weeks back ive been wanting this truck for yrs basically my dream truck i got it for 1000 bucks when i bought it the owners said it started up fine last time they checked which was 4 yrs ago so i got it towed home the next morning i was trying to figure out why it wouldnt start i sprayed starting fluid in the throttle body and some gas and it would crank over then instantly shut off so i figure the fuel pump so i get under the truck to see some rats or whatever ate up the wiring to the pump and tail lights so i replace all the wiring amd light everything started working the next day or two i decided to go get smog done so while leaving the truck shut off i cranked it up it started fine drove it down the street it died 2 more times then finally it wouldnt fire up it would just crank so i replaced the fuel sending unit the filter and sending unit and still nothing just crank but if i put gas or start fluid in throttle it will start then instantly die again i check the injectors put negative on 1 side and tap the positive i can hear the injectors clicking but no gas is coming from them i also put a noid light on and cranked the key and the light didnt flicker or do anything on both injectors if anybody can please help me id greatly appreciate it im new to this site if you can help just call or text me 7605962493(sorry for extremely long run on sentence)

Don't be sorry for an extremely/obstructively long run-on sentence. FIX IT so that people can read it properly and you might see more replies to your problem. What you have shown is that you can't take the time to use proper grammar/punctuation which will make the job of helping you easier and then you criticize the forum for lack of responses... :icon_doh:

As far as the problem with your truck, you need to get back to automotive 101 here and test power/ground at the pump as well as fuel pressure and injector pulse at the throttle body. That should give you valuable insight into your problem. While testing the power/ground at the pump, make sure to move the repaired wiring around to check for intermittent connections. Report back with your findings.

On the plus side, at least you didn't call it a K5! :icon_wink:
