Auto to manual swap

Hello all, my name is Craig and this is my first post, thanks for having me. I have had a lot of success and help on ramchargercentral.com rebuilding an olod Dodge I have and this looks like a great resource for the Blazers. My son has a 89 K5, 4wd, 350, auto. He would like to swap the auto out for a manual. can anyone shed some light on what we are looking at as far as parts, costs, difficulty etc. i really appreciate the help. I know it will be a long list but just a general idea would be great. Thanks, Craig

RE: Auto to manual swap

The bare minimum for parts is going to be the transmission appropriate for the 4wd system, the clutch pedal and master cylinder, the hump from the floor and the shifter. I'm sure that chevy lover will pop in with anything I have missed. I believe that we have another thread around here somewhere that answered this already..

I'm also going to move this to the fullsize tech section for more appropriate advice.

Thank you. I searched but couldn't find anything on a full size swap. I will keep looking though. Appreciate the help. Craig
