a/c question

hey guys i have an 89 K5 the a/c in the truck doesnt get cold anymore it just gets cool. at first i thought it was the hot days but i noticed it wasnt getting cold at night either. the a/c is fully charged. i was wondering if you guys had any idea what it may be.

Maybe its OVER-charged? Maybe a restriction in the lines somewhere? Compressor may be goin south? If you knew the pressure on the high and low side, itd make it easier to narrow it down.

Does it cool relatively well initially after the engine has cooled down completely? If so, this could indicate that either the system pressure is high or the condenser is plugged up with debris.

If you have not done so already, I would clean the outside a/c condenser and the radiator with your garden hose. See if that helps.
