front fender K5 Blazer emblems

How do you remove the K5 Blazer emblems from the front fenders? Are they bolted on from the back side of the fender? Or can they just be pried off from the fender? These emblems are on a 1973 K5 Blazer 4x4.

The emblems have studs cast into them with stamped metal nuts on the back side of the fender.
