Hood Adjustment
 

I am having a hecht of a time getting the back of the hood on my 73 blazer to go all the way down. I can push it down, but it comes right back up. I have replaced the hood springs with no help. There seems to be no up and down adjustment on the hinge to fender mounts. What am I missing. Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks.

The hinges are binding at the bottom. Have you pulled the hinges and made sure that they move freely through all of their range of motion?

have you tried undoing the bolts that hold the hinges to the hood? I had your issue after removing hood for engine swap. Took an extra set of hands to adjust the angle slightly.

Today, I just noticed my hood is unevenly offset to driver's side by almost 1/4"... *sigh*
