looking to buy a lifted k5 i live in michigan so its hard to find one without rust all over it if anyone knows where i can find one let me no

go down south. i used to go through trucks every 2-3 years due them literally falling apart.also even the rotted turd blazers and pick up trucks out here people wanted like 1500+. im from chicago area and found a frame and body for $350 down in central mississippi the guy stole all the drivetrain parts out of it and was just gonna scrap it. only cost me $250 in gas:) but boy was it worth it. truck is a 86 and even the factory exaust clamps unscrewed, quite amazing only rust is its just starting by the cab corners

I bought my 82 out west in Vegas, drove it back. No rust.

ive known a few people who have drove them back also. if you look at the long run the amount of money youll be saving not having to deal with rusty brake lines and replacing floors its worth it

Coming all the way back up route 66 was a bonus
