manual hubs on full time 4wd

I have a 1979 k5 blazer that has the full time 4wd system I am having a problem with the hubs and was wondering if instead of puttin new stock ones on can I install locking ones instead without customizing my t-case?

Nope you still have to do something with your transfer case bcause the Blazer drives off the front axle until you lock the rear .

If you put lockout hubs on the front of your truck, your truck will not move under power nor will park engage anything when one or both of the hubs are unlocked with the transfer case in HI or LO. The only way you will be able to drive it with the hubs unlocked is if you have it in HI-LOC or LO-LOC.
