Mostly Positive...

That I know why my Blazer isn't starting. A couple of my buddies who work older Chevy's say that my fuel pump is inside of my tank, so when I turn the key I should hear the pump hum for a couple seconds while building up pressure. So we tried it and didn't hear anything. The next step is for me to pull the line from the engine to see if fuel squirts out. Here's my problem:

I am looking at replacement fuel pump assemblies but really have no idea what I should be looking for. Does the size matter? Were there models of the same year where the pump was outside of the Blazer? Should I relocate the pump?

Just stick with a delco pump and replace the factory one and don't run it under 1/4 tank of gas and you will be a happy camper. Before going through all that i'd check the fuel pump relay first just to be safe much easier and cheaper.

Considering that the original most likely lasted since from 89 to now, I would just replace it with another AC Delco unit and be done with it. GM did not use external pumps because at the time, they were not very reliable and would overheat quite readily.

Well I was right, got her into a shop today to see why and the module went out. Gonna replace with the stock part and while I'm under there replace my fuel filter. Now my only worry is why I am leaking so much oil, any suggestions as to what I should look for first?

could be leaking from a lot of areas. valve covers, oil pan, etc
