Need quick answer! Back Window Problem
Hi, I have an 87 blazer with power windows, including the back.
I've had the motor rebuilt and a new cable installed not long ago and it's been working great. This morning I pulled the window down to put some stuff in the truck, after that I tried to pull it up but all I could hear is the motor spinning. After removing the cover I discovered that the cable has been disconnected/broken from the regulator. My question is, how can I get the window to go up manually so I can take a look at what the problem is? This is urgent because it's going to rain soon and my back windows is down!!! Thanks for any help. |
Is there anything that you can hook a drill up to on the cable? You can use a drill to raise the window.

It actually disconnected on the other side so I had to remove the glass to reconnect the cable.

Ah. Yeah, if it breaks off the regulator, you have to unbolt the window and slide it up.
