Newbie with a lift, parts and general question

I did some searching but did not find what I was looking for.

I'm thinking about buying a 84 Blazer. Everything is stock.

Questions;

Does anyone make a small suspension lift for these Blazers? I do not want to do a body lift or blocks in the back. Looking for a 2 - 2.5 inch lift using 4 leaf springs. Do not want to go to a 4" lift.

Is there anything I should really look out for on the Blazers besides the obvious rust, leaks and such?

Last question, beside LMC is there a good parts catalog for the blazers?

Pics of the Blazer I am looking at.

Thanks!

Looks like a pretty nice truck. The rockers and around the wheels are known places for rust. As is the rear body support that ties the bed sides together at the back.

As far as suspension, you probably will not like 2" kits as pretty much all of them have lift blocks for the rear. HERE is one of them and others can be found with a quick google search. I would much rather put in a body lift than have lift blocks on the rear axle.

LMC is about the only place that has it all in terms of parts. For an 84, you can likely still find a lot of OE stuff at the junkyards in decent condition.

And sorry to disappoint, but that is not a Bronco! LOL

Fixed it it. Great first impression in my part!!

Thanks for the info.

I measured the rear springs and they are 56". I looked for a kit that sold 4 leaf springs to lift it 2" but did not find it.

i would put on a 4 in lift. the tailgate on mine has rust at the bottom and at the front fenders. i think that is common.

I believe the minimum lift that is sold with 4 new springs is 4".

Something came up and I'm not setting the blazer but others will come along.

Thanks for the info. It will be useful down the road.
