Please Help Me !!! Looking for K5 parts.

Just wondering if anyone can help me locate parts for my rebuild. Im taking my '77 K5 and putting a '86 body on my '77 frame. Need a passenger door w/power, tailgate, dash pad (?), etc. I didn't want to buy aftermarket parts would like to find original parts but Im having trouble finding them Did find an awesome drivers door power window, wiring, boot, glass, little surface rust it was off an '87 1500 but perfect for $150. Just wanted to know if anyone knows where to look, if there is anything on line for parts like that. Thank you ~Jules

Be careful with your transplant. The body mount locations & number of mounts changed between your '77 and the '86 that you are proposing to use. It is not a simple swap.

As far as where to find parts, many of the parts interchange with the fullsize pickups. Things like doors and dash pads are a direct swap to either of the bodies that you have. But the fullsize trucks changed to a different body style in '88.

As far as where to find parts... Keep an eye out on Craigslist or eBay. I have found MANY good deals on both for parts for my K5. I bought a set of high back seats off eBay and the guy had a good set of rust free original GM doors that he threw in on top. I have two good rust free GM tailgates that I am holding on to that I got for cheap off Craigslist. There are deals out there.
