Sluggish Power?
 

Well I thought the CAT was the problem but apparently it wasnt..The truck is fine until it warms up then it gets real sluggish..Got to get the RPM's up there and let off the clutch slow..and if i am on a hill I have to put it in low gear so i wont stall..Any ideas on what could cause this??Very confused

Has anything been done here lately to the truck? I have seen the magnets on the dist shaft, where the rotor slides onto, crack, then they give the computer a wrong signal, also have seen pick-ups go bad and retard timing real bad. Let us know if anything has been replaced lately. But in the mean time you can pull the cap, and rotor off, and look at the magnets, esp.. where the rivits are, that is where they usually crack.

yea my next step is acutaly replacing the Cap and Rotor becuase only God knows the last time they were changed

If it is running ok cold then it is having a problem with closed loop mode I would have the computer checked to see if all the connectors are sending the correct signals, I would take a DVMM to any circuit that is related to the coolant system to see if they are sending the correct signal to the computer...also make sure that the connector at the computer is clean and the wires are making connnection...

DVMM or DMM == Digital Multi-Meter. You would use this to check the voltage being sent to the PCM and comparing it with the values that it is supposed to be seeing.

oooo ok lol i am not goot with
abbreviations lol... but where could I find what the proper volts are suppose to be?
