Start my K5 with the right trun signal!!!!

Yes, its like what i wrote in the Title; i can start my car now by using the right turn signal!!! not the left, only the right!!:icon_hyper:
i'm not kidding, i need your help, i can't us right hand because it attemts to start the car, and this would burn the starter up.
i guess there is a short somewhere, but where? where does the right turn and the ignition calbles comes close??

ANY IDEAS?:icon_shrug:

I would start under the column. All of the turn signal wiring goes down inside the column and comes out under the dash. The ignition switch is located on top of the column so all of the wiring is right there.

that is crazy. im surprised it has enough amps to even turn the starter

It doesn't have to turn the starter, only engage the solenoid which doesn't require much amperage at all.

TProblem solved :)
well, after spending 10 hours following all wires and cables i found that the Starter cable was damaged and caused a short circuit.
it seems that last wekeend wheni busted by exahust and fro U joint while "Sand Duning", the broken exahust runied the starter cables. The short circuit caused the cable to melt and short ciruit other cables in 2 other places!! one of them was just behind the air intake on the firewall. that explains which i had this problem with the left side turn signal not the left :))
this what happens when u get a car that was owned by 100's of people before u :)
And the fun contiunes
Till the next wonder :)
