Tailgate help please
 

Hello,

I just joined. I have an 87 Suburban. I can't find any old Suburban forums so since mine is basically a bigger blazer I'm posting here.

The tail gate window on my 87 if off the track. The track is rusted out. The window is stuck up right now cause if I move it I will not be able to get it back up again(gee that's a pun :D)
The motor works. I looked on LMC truck.com & saw all these parts. I'm not sure if I need it all or just some parts. Any help on what parts I need & advise on how to proced would be great. Junk yards by me are rare & ones that carry parts that would fit are rarer.

Also is there any manual release for the tailgate? Does the window have to be down to open it? Not being able to open the tailgate is hurting me cause I bought the Suburban for the cargo space & towing.

Nevermind. I took it all apart & figured out what I needed to replace. Just about everything. $550 in parts :(
