tank removal

:confused:I am having trouble removing the gas tank from my 93 k5 blazer.
I have taken the straps off and still the tank won't budge.
Dose anyone have any idea of why it would be stuck?

It is possible that the rubber isolators have glued themselves to the tank and the supports holding it up in there.

Is there fuel in the tank?

yes, it sounds like there is a little gas.
are the seal on the front and back?
how would you sudgest unsticking the seals without damaging them?

They are not really seals. Just rubber pads that keep the tank secure and vibration free. They are where the tank meets the frame on the top and sides.

The reason I asked about the tank level is due to weight in the tank. You typically see this kind of issue mentioned when there is very little fuel in the tank to help un-stick it.
