Tbi...

Can a little gas be poured into the throttle body to help prime it after having changed the fuel pump and sending unit or should I stick with starter fluid? Thanks!!!!

Either would work.

I would stay away from starting fluid for the purpose of priming. It is ok for the occasional start.(Just my opinion)
I am not sure about the '94(assuming this is what you have), but on my '91 TBI there is a relay on the passenger side firewall with a red lead that is not connected and is for priming the fuel system.

I have started my TBI enginge (4.3) by pouring a small amount of gas down the throat. I needed to figure out if my car would not start because of fuel or spark. It started just fine this way and then I new I needed a fuel pump.
