1971 Blazer
I just bought a 1971 Blazer. I found it in a barn covered with a tarp. It is a six cyl 240 with automatic. I am trying to find how many six cyl were manufactured in the blazer in 1971. I can find the total number of Blazers made but not with six cyl. Also does anyone still make the canvas tops for the 71 model? Thanks for any help anyone. An give
me. If I decide to try to find the optional fiberglass top are there any
used ones for sale anywhere?

Nice find.

Should really be restored to original conditions.
Maybe somebody else knows about the production figures of the I6?

So your 1971 being 2WD or 4WD is quite rare.
I would never change the matching engine, especially not if it is matching numbers. Instead try to assemble as many documents as you possibly can on that vehicle. Receipts, Service receipts, manual, pictures of previous owners that show the car.
There is an emerging market for such trucks.
BTW, can you post a pic? Might be interested in.
