Will a 1989 Chevy k5 blazer fit stock 17 inch rims off a 2005 GMC Sierra 1500?

The 6 on 5.5" bolt circle stud spacing is the same from the squares to the newer trucks, but the hub diameter on the newer rims is smaller than what is required for a square. Also, the back spacing on the rims is considerably more than the original rims used on the square body trucks. It can be done, but you will need to have spacers made to correct the offset so you don't run into the springs while steering.

yeah i tried to do this years ago with a late 90s suburban rims, the backs bolted up to my old suburban but when i tried to put the fronts on they tightened into the tie rod. i believe those were 16s with 17s you MAY get really lucky and clear the tie rods,

but the backspacing sucked, the tires were tucked under the truck, basically looked like one of those trucks you see driving around that drives on the railroad tracks
