Cranks, but wont start
I have a 1988 Chevy K5 Blazer with a 5.7 liter engine. Pretty much everything on or in the engine is new and installed ,distributor, plugs, wires, new water pump, 140 amp alternator, power steering pump and went to a 3 core radiator with dual eletric fans. Now that everything is installed I can't get my Blazer to start. I'm thinking I have the ground wires wrong . I will cranks over, but just wont start. I have spark and fuel is spraying good. I get the filling that my spark may be weak if thats a possiblity. So I am thinking that my ground wires arean't in the right place. Can someone refresh my memory to where the two negative battery ground wiring attach too. Hunting season is slowly creeping up on me.

Is the engine timed properly? What are the chances that you installed the distributor incorrectly?

Well after triple checking everything, I finally figured out why it wasn't firing up. When I was try and start it up, it was spraying so much fuel it was just flooding out, but I could tell at the time because I was the one turning the key. Now it will start but is idleing a little rough. So maybe the timing is off a bit. Thanks for you help.
