I stripped thr fuel line.

Hey guys, I recently got an 88 k5 but I don't know much about them. I am trying to change the fuel filter but since it is so old, I stripped part of the fuel line that is right next to the filter itself. Any help please?

I was waiting to see if other K5'ers helped. While you're waiting, you have TBI right? low pressure. There's tubing right? Look at a Ford EFI fuel filter.. has tubing nipples both ends. That's really for quick-connects but no reason you cant just slide fuel line on them
Think gear clamps and fuel line tubing.

also autozone or most part stores do sell fuel line repair kits cause its common for those things to be so rotted they just brake in half. i bought one for my 90 when it wouldnt come off in one piece

I agree that a new line is the best fix, but you may be able to take a die and rethread it if the threads aren't stripped too badly. You can pick up a cheap die set for 20 bucks. If its cracked, pinched, bent, or generally destroyed, you don't really have many other options. You generally don't want to mickey mouse the fuel system.
