Need assistance with my 86 K5 and the vent door on the passenger side kick panel. I took the nick panel, vent, actuator, etc off as I removed the entire interior. I reassembled everything to what I thought was the correct way, but I am having trouble with the door opening when vent is selected on the dash. I feel comfortable all vacuum lines are working correctly. I fear I installed the spring, or vacuum actuator incorrectly as it takes a lot of force to open the door with the spring attached. I have tried to find diagrams or pics of how the actuator and spring are attached to the vent door without success..

Need some help..Haynes repair manual has no pics, internet has pics, but not of the spring and attachment to the door.

Should it take much force to open the vent door when closed and when you release the door it springs shut?
