Default LS Swap 72 Blazer

I just purchased a 1972 Blazer with a fuel injected 396 and turbo 350 transmission. It runs perfect but I am going to swap out the drivetrain with a 2016 L83 engine and 6 speed auto trans I just purchased. Has anyone here performed an LS swap into an early Blazer? I am looking for as much info as possible so I can start collecting everything needed so my rig is off the road for as little time as possible. I will be using the stock wiring harness, drive by wire pedal and all accessories as I currently have a/c and plan to keep it. I thought I read somewhere that the front crossmember will need to be changed out. Can anyone help me with my research? Greatly appreciated. Thank you

Looks like these people have it all figured out. If I was going to do it, I would contact them and see if they have a guide, or at least ask them what you will need. https://www.dirtydingo.com/shop/prod...oducts_id=1408

P.S. Isn't a 2016 a Gen5 LT engine, not a LS? Not sure if the mounts are the same but probably are. Oil pan - better ask. Sounds like a REALLY expensive swap! But to each his own.
