new to the game need help

yea new to 4x4 but i just got a 1988 k5 with a 350 and it gots 8 lug axes and i dont know what they came out of if i need parts for them how do i know what to go ask for the guy told me it had a dana 60 up front and a 14 bolt there both 8 lug back is drum and front is disk any help would help me out alot cuz i need to look at the breaks to day for some reson it is pulling to the right when i hit the breaks about to go put a new windoeo in rite now thats peter

86 chevy k30. They pretty much use all the same stuff. That's the truck I give when buying stuff for my one ton.

Also make sure its a dana 60. If you're gonna check the brakes it will have this metal tab you have to hit out. A dana 44 will have those pins you have to unscrew. And as always pictures help

ok so i found out it is a dana 44 not a 60 changed the break pad but it is still pulling to the right when i hit the breaks, i just got the truck so went to make sure the 4x4 works and found out it does not, going to lift up one of the front tires tomorr and lock the hubs to see if there working if they i thing its the transfer case or does anybody else know what it could be would put up pic of the truck but they wont let me put up pic yet any help will help me alot thanks

also is there so post to be two crossmember one for the tran and one for the transfer case or just one like rite where the tran and transfer case bolt together

I believe on the newer K5's there is only one cross member.

I just looked in your usergroup rights and there is nothing prohibiting you from creating an album, garage, or attaching images to your posts (images of your truck are much more appropriate in an album or garage).
