Odd squeaking noise when turning key to run
What moves when I turn the key switch to "run"?
After turning the switch to run there is a squek that lasts about 2 seconds then stops. Sounds like a cable/linkage squeak to me but...
The sound happens ALMOST every time. Sounds like it comes from the center floorboard or trans tunnel. Doesn't seem to affect anything just irritating.

Are you sure the squeek is not from the steering column? The ignition key turns a gear on a ramp with a rod that moves in the ignition switch near your "knee area" of the column.
