1974 Blazer with manual door locks. The passenger door lock plunger wont move up or down. I pulled the door panel to see the guts and compared to the driver door. I can see little mechanism way back in there wanting to turn but more flexing then anything when pulling up on plunger. So the door is freaking locked and I cant get it open. Any ideas?

 

You are probably going to have to try lubricating the latch assembly inside the door, then try it and see if it has loosened up. If not, lube some more and come back in a day or two to try again.

If you need me to, I can remove the latch assembly from one of my spare doors and take some pictures showing how it all works.
