Rear Window Safety Switch - where to buy?
1988 K5
Stop and pick up ~$500 worth of drainage stuff on the way to work (doing a side job). Park, go to put up rear window, no joy from dash or lock cylinder. I take off panel, start looking around, and remember that about 10 years ago I removed rear window safety switch and jumpered. I screw around with that, and the window works.
Anyway, since I will be letting my daughter drive this one in a few years, I figure I might want to start fixing some of the things I have patched over the years.
I don't remember what I did with the bad one (that was 3-4 military moves ago), or even what it looks like. I looked all over the Internet and so far I can't find one. Any ideas?
I appreciate the assistance.

I think this is the one you're probably referring to. If you can find one in a junkyard, you may well be able to follow this article and repair it. If you can't find one where you're at, maybe I can look out here for you the next time I go yard ******* for some parts. https://blazerforum.com/forum/full-s...-switch-57635/
