Rear window motor problems

Rear window motor problems
I have an 84 full size jimmy and having issues with the window going up and down. It has new glass and seals, but still not enough strength to move. Does anyone know where i can get a new motor? I have ordered a new cable from LMC, but have a feeling thats not going to solve the problem.

Check the ground to the motor. I have seen a number of weak rear motors be due to an inadequate ground to the motor which grounds through the tailgate hinge. I would just run a new ground along with the rest of the wires into the tailgate. See if that helps things.
If not, the next thing might be to remove the regulator and make sure that it is lubed up good.
Beyond that, the motors are EXPENSIVE! I have two extras not including the one in my power window'd tailgate. I have the extras because of the problems that most people run into with a rear power window.

Thanks for the info, but just in case I need extras, where can a motor be found? I've searched the internet and haven't been able to locate one.

They're out there. Google "K5 rear window motor" and see what turns up.
