1988 Chevrolet 4.3 4x4
Hello my name is Ryan Roper I have a 1988 Chevrolet s10 blazer with a 4.3 that’s 4x4 and I’m not sure exactly wrong with it. I just bought it from someone. And the front end feels like it’s locked in four wheel drive and like that tire is gonna fall off all at the same time.
This is what the lift on it looks like I’ve never seen one like this.

To what I can see, it looks like there's contact between the shock and the upper control arm bolt? And is that the shock bushing floating around the top bold? Are you able to get more picks? It looks like an ifs, but that lift kit seems like it was welded in....
Edit: that front upper control arm bolt is in the wrong way... thats why its contacting the shock

Yes I can take more pictures. If you would like I can give you my cell phone number so it’ll be easier to send the photos. I don’t know a thing about 4x4s. It started making a sound that sounded like metal taping each other but when I hit my breaks the sound stopped

Posting on here is fine, this is the closest ill be to a social butterfly lol...
brakes could push it back from the bolt(gravity force and science terms inserted), causing you not to hear it... I'm not too familiar with the first gens myself, but that bolt would be where I would start... and make sure you put those washer back the same way, as it's critical to you camber alignment.
I would check the shock absorber at the same time, as you probably have to atleast remover the top bolt to remove the camber bolt
