Thanks for all the compliments everyone!! I tinted the tail lights with VHT Nightshades (it comes in a rattle can)
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/VHT-N...=p4506.c0.m245 I taped off the rev. light and just sprayed the red part. I only used one coat to give it the smoked look, but you can use 2-3 cotes to give it the real blacked out look. Just be sure to prep them well, sand with som e fine sand paper finishing with a wetsand with 4000 grit. also do a wet sand when you're finished with the night shade and finish it off with some clear coat (I still have to do this) and some polish and wax. As for the tires, They are absolutely fantastic! Not only to the look great, but they ride smooth and are virtually silent. Thanks again! |
very nice!

vht is awesome stuff.
could you explain how you did that emblem. Did you just mask it, spray it. take the masking off and repray the second color? |
the emblem is just a decal I got on ebay. You can pick a number of color combos.

ah. I just wrapped mine in white vinyl to match my white blazer and I figured if I didnt like it I could jsut take it off.
|
thats an improvement, looks great.
|
Wow! It makes quite a huge difference, but I like the way it looks.
|
Those decals are pretty cool. I like how it's not permanent, so you could easily change or remove it if needed.
