2003 Chevy blazer Xtreme question

Hi guys, i am new but i had a question. I have been looking at a 2003 Blazer Xtreme that is in great shape with 55k miles on it. I know it doesnt have 4 wheel drive and the problem with that is i live in Iowa where we definantly get snow. If i ended up buying this would it basically handle like a rwd car in the snow? Any insight on this would be great. Thanks

I kind of thought so, would snow tires help at all?

They won't hurt. Also adding some sandbags or some other sort of weight in the back cargo area wouldn't hurt either.

Snow tires may help, with sum weight added in the back.. Plus they have 16" wheels yuo may have to go woth 15" whells and tires for snows, I havent seen a set of 16" snow tires yet...
