Default 92 4.3 into a 94 s10 blazer

dropped a 92 4.3 vortec into a 94 s10 blazer the 92 motor came out of a blazer also well the 92 had just a 4l60 in it and i noticed after all this the 94 has the 4l60e it seems like the truck dosnt want to move when i put it into overdrive or drive it will move but slowly and then it wont shift into another gear but it has all power in reverse which im very confused is there somthing that the 92 motor dosnt have that the 94 did? cause there is no leftover plugs or anything cause its the 94 computer as well im not sure if the torque converter is filled all the way or what but ive ran it already a few times and went through all the gears on the column im not a very skilled mechanic im only 17 this is my first motor swap can somone please help me thank you very much

Personally I'm not sure about your issue... perhaps ask a moderator to move this posting to Engines & Transmissions?
In there you may get more specific ideas.

You can find moderators at the bottom of the main page. I'd just copy & paste the link to this posting in a private message to one of them asking for it to be moved to the proper area.

Did you hook up & adjust the TV cable? VERY important on the 700R4/4L60.

Also the symptoms you describe could be ignition timing being way off.
