Aux light switch panel

So, I'm in the process of adding some additional lights to my truck, to better illuminate those trails after dark. After wracking my brain trying to figure out where and how to mount the switches, what kind of switches to use, and how to make it look clean, I figured it out!

My buddy is really the mvp here. He's been using carling contura v switches in his truck, and hooked me up by making the switch pod for my truck

The head unit is an old pioneer a different buddy gave me when I was helping him move. It ain't fancy, but it has an aux input, so I'm happy.

My friend modified a double din dash kit, and installed the switches for me. There room for seven across, so plenty of different options are there.

He's also making me a fuse/relay box for all my add ons, I'll post pic of it once he's finished

I'll also be replacing my 4wd switch with a pair of the contura v switches. It was a little more that a stock replacement switch, but the cool factor makes it worth while

It turns on the monkey in the trunk, who moves around to distribute weight better when you're going around corners, duh!

No, I only ordered four, but it was part of a larger order of my friends. They accidentally shipped an extra one, so he went ahead and threw it in for me. The covers pop off, and you can get different ones for $5. Figured I might wire it to the horn relay, to surprise people who press it

lol got cha

Looks like a nice and clean install! Good fit & finish.

My method turned my roof console into something that looks like it came out of an airplane cockpit, not that that's a bad thing lol

Looks nice! I considered putting mine up in the overhead console

Ha ha, exactly where I am going to put my switches under the stereo. I also was looking at the same switches.

Hey, blazin red, I watched your switch video, then I watched the video of you winching out the pizza dude... Two questions. 1) what the hell was he doing down that trail in a front drive compact car, and 2) why was he having such a hard time driving in a straight line backwards? Lol

No idea dude, no idea... to both questions...

I mounted my switch panel on the roll cage in front of me. It wasn't necessarily my first choice, but there really wasn't anywhere else.
