Slim Jim? Pry out the top of the door and hit the power lock button?

There are a ton of ways to get into a vehicle without doing much damage, if any.

What also doesn't help is how common Blazers are, so crooks have plenty of practice on them.

The only security system worth getting is the kind which page you when your alarm goes off. The rest of them are crap tbh. I know it sucks man, it happens often where I live. Somebody gets something stolen from there car. But usually it is not a blazer nor an suv, it is often a honda civic or honda accord.

From what I can tell, if no damage is done, there are a few ways for the person to get in. One way being a coat hanger. These suckers can be twisted and angled any sort of direction you want. Another being what the guy above mentioned about the crowbar and prying the window. Since there was no damage and the doors weren't left unlocked, these two are the most obvious. Most criminals aren't the smartest people so obviously this guy beat the system.

in some states your insurance policy covers the goods in your vehicle as well. its worth looking into if you could get reimbursed for your equipment

I have seen guys get into cars at my shop in under a minute with the right tools. It also does not take much practice either. Sorry for your loss thou that really sucks.

You can also stick a blood pressure cuff in the crack of the door and pressure it up and it will normally pop the door open on a newer car enough to unlock it but doesn't work to well on old cars because the door is too heavy.

Sorry about the loss though

but a smart crook can get into anything like I remember going with my friend one day who makes keys and helps people get in their car when they lock their keys in and etc. Someone locked their keys in their Z06 and he had it unlocked in about 30 seconds. bad part is no matter how expensive your car is or how nice of a security system you have it isn't thief proof.
