blazer has no balls...
Not what you were thinking!:icon_crackup:
Where is it? 4x4 wouldn't work this morning and of course we have 4" of snow drifted 2' high in places. Traced the problem to a dis connected vacuum hose. Noticed there is no ball on the hood like my 96. looked high and low for a vacuum ball but couldn't find it. On a 1999 Chevy Blazer S10 4.3L vortec |
PRetty much one of three places. If it's not on the hood or next to accumulator it's in the driver's side fender
|
If itsin the fender how do I get to it? have to remove the whole fender?
|
There is thread after thread on this forum about the location of the vacuum canister in the fender search and you will find.
|
General rule: Anything located in the fender is accessible by removing the inner fender. That means the wheelwell liner.
Also: As a layman, {hardware & telecom engineer at Lexis/Nexis for 15 years} I've been doing on-line searches since 1979. The search algorithm on here reminds me of that one, which was indeed a marvel of that age. - suggest doing searches from google adding site:blazerforum.com how do i get to the vaccuum in fender site:blazerforum.com https://www.google.com/search?q=how+...lazerforum.com Notice that google is smart! |
