Irk what happened but it got hot... started stalling and starting again as I'm driving... and finally died... it turns over but don't start... the fuel pump is still making noise but still dont start...... but I'm worried its something darastic

 

why were you still trying to drive it while its running hot? Let it cool down ,check fluids,and once clear,start it.

 

i wasnt trying to... just when everything started i looked down and saw the temp guage was high but no lights were lit up or anything.... well just a few minutes ago i got antifreeze in it and got it jump started... now the thing just runs rough and shut off when it got upto temp again.... idk whats wrong but i hope its an easy fix... i aint got a lot of cash to spend so hopefully i can get you all the info you need to determine the problem.... i can try to get a video up if it will help??

 

Does it blow any white smoke now? i would recommend starting it as little as possible for now.

 

Also, how does your oil look? Like chocolate milk?

 

no smoke ... oil looks great .... had it on battery charger after i got it home ... it didnt even charge it so i tried jumping it again and i only got one turnover but not enough to start the truck ... so now i have another problem among my main problem ... altonator, starter or battery ... UGH!!!

 

Is the engine just really hard to turn over? Hopefully its not seized

It sounds like the starter is froze... and before the guage gets to red line it shuts off... it turns over once I wait for like every few times I crank it... but I can hear the starter hum when I turn the key until I hit it with a hammer...

 

Well guys... after further investigation ... my motor seized up... antifreeze all over dipstick :/ ... and now the new questions... is a rebuild kit worth it??? Will a motor from lets say a 98 fit without changing ecu?? ... whats my best option I can do right now??? Ugh!!! I'm so frustrated!!!
