Calling All Painted Frames

Heyy guys i wanted to paint my frame black when i do a body lift.So i was wondering if any of you have pictures of your painted or bed lined frames, I would appreciate it if you could show me your Trucks.

If I ever get off work and get time to work on my Blazer, I'll be pressure washing my frame and using that rubberized undercoating stuff on the frame. Paint gets scratched up to easy and bedliner is a bit harder to make touch ups than rattle can undercoating.

I used it on one of my wheel wells to protect some bare metal where I had to do some grinding a few years ago and it is still holding up great. No rust peeking through and no flaking/peeling.

I've been intrested in doing this on my blazer sometime down the road how hard was it to clean the frame to get the paint to stick and did it take long to do?

take a wire brush to it clean most of the grit stuff off just clean up as good as you can it sticks very well but just to let you know wear a long sleeve shirt the paint doesnt come off lmao

Hey NJ4x4, are those urethane bushings? Any difference in ride quality with them?

nj4x4blaze 06-16-2010 12:00 PM

Stiffened up the body. I got them because my old body mounts were cracked.
