Easy off oven, the aresol can? The only thing i'd be worryed about, is the pH of those things. They are so corrosive idk if id want it getting on all the wires and stuff.

i use simple green, that stuff is pretty good for cleaning the engine bay

you only leave it on for <10 minutes, max.

started using it aroun '95/'96, never had any issues.
