crank wont start, security code
 

greetings, my chevy blazer 98 4.3 6cyl. would sometimes not start, it cranks though but it wont turn. now it is becoming very frequent. it will start right back normally if wait for 10 minutes exactly. is there any passlock on this model or theft alarm system that may be causing this trouble. please help coz the 10 min. wait causes trouble for my kids at school. thank so much. btw there is no code at all,no service light on no security light also but, i can sometimes hear ticking sound under the dashboard. not sure if it is related.

the ticking is the transfer case control module if you have 4x4.
search on the lock cylinder..it may be the cause of your issues.
