drain radiator/overflow

Can somebody tell me the secret to getting the drain plug all the way out for my radiator? Or does it only go a couple turns and drain that slow? Also how do I drain the overflow? I dont see a drain for that. Trying to do this before too many below freezing temps go by in the mornings

The plug will come out it just a lot of work since the o-ring kinda holds it in place. It's tight but you can wiggle a small block of wood down there then take a screwdriver and CAREFULLY pry it the rest of the way out using the wood as a place to get leverage. As for the overflow the only way I found was to remove it from the truck flush it out and reinstall.

Overflow is difficulty clean the "mud" out of as well if the cooling system was neglected. I ended up having to use a baby bottle brush as well as a flexible toilet brush on the inside of mine.
