frame shows under truck

Anyone else notice how the frame seems to show underneath these blazers? Probably can't do anything about it normally, but it kinda bothers me. Has anyone ever done anything like a body drop maybe or anything like that. My stock wheels seem lost in all that space. Or am I being silly? LOL.

It can, and has been done. It's a pretty major undertaking, and after it's done, you have to deal with the channel for the frame sticking up out of the floor. You might consider undercoating the visible part of the frame. It makes it look much better, IMO. Another thing you might consider (I'm assuming you're after the street truck look) is a body kit. Running boards would also hide the frame.

If you want to do some serious custom work, tubbing the body will hide the frame and let your ride sit much lower. After that, airbags and let the doors touch the asphalt!:icon_pala:

If it bothers you, but you don't want to do that much work, just paint the frame black with some undercoat paint.

Also, if you have a 2wd, you could turn it into an Xtreme! The body kit hides the frame well.

Ahh, an extreme body kit would be nice. Can that be done to a 4 door? And painting the rails is something I might do. Thanks for the tips.

I like the frame showing, it's something to paint when you're bored and have some spray paint and sand paper. Don't overkill it, unless you just want too lol, if you think they're lost you could do a 3/4 drop or something? Or if you want you could jack it on up place in some 30's

The frame showing shows it is a real truck. If you don't want a frame showing go buy a uni-body car.

Damn straight. Real trucks have camouflage seat covers and truck nutz on the back.

I attempted to make my own nutz, i had two little copper boeys, they open and close big valves on ships when water floods and empties. proboably a little smaller than a volley ball. I just need some Steel braided line and i'm good
